The applications are limited only by your imagination – think museum displays, meeting and event signage, ceremonial presentations, trade shows, retail and banking, schools and colleges, photo and graphics displays.
The most versatile rigid material for outdoors is corrugated plastic, also called Coro or Corex. This resilient material is widely used for lawn signs, political signs, tag sale announcements, and event signage.
A sturdier option is PVC. This is the same material used in PVC pipes, but for printing purposes, it is extruded into flat 4 x 8 foot sheets. Both durable and long lasting, PVC is a cost effective option for smooth-faced signs. Looking for an eye-catching way to add depth and interest to wall graphics? PVC can be cut to form 3 dimensional letters, shapes or objects that will call attention to your product.
At XL-Color we’re experts at executing complex and custom cutouts, including 3-D applications. Our go-to substrate, Ultra Board, has a lightweight, foam-core center and rigid styrene face. An excellent material for durable displays, it is resistant to warping and available in 3/16 and ½ inch thickness.
